It started with
a community.
Claudio Romero grew up in Ennis, Texas, surrounded by people who believed in him. Their encouragement helped him earn a full scholarship to Texas A&M University.
He never forgot that kindness. He wanted other students to have the same chance to follow their ambitions.
Opportunity changes
a life. Then another.
Claudio dreamed of returning the support he had received, helping students overcome barriers and discover what was possible after high school.
In February 2021, just months before graduation, his life was tragically cut short. His dream of giving back became the foundation of CROME.
In his memory.
For their future.
Founded in his hometown, CROME carries Claudio’s generosity forward through scholarships, mentorship, and college and career guidance.
A community believed in Claudio. Together, we can pass that belief on.
