CROME began with a spirit of gratitude: giving back to the people and place that helped Claudio Romero pursue his dreams. That spirit lives on in the people who show up. There is a place here for your time, your experience and your support, and this guide explains each one.

Mentor

Share your career with a student: a conversation, a workplace visit, feedback on an essay or a resume. You do not need a perfect career story, only experience and encouragement. Apply as a mentor.

Volunteer

Help at the Bluebonnet Run, community events, pep rallies and workshops. Tell us what you enjoy and how much time you have, and we will match you to something that needs doing. Apply as a volunteer.

Tutor

Work with a student on a subject, an application essay or FAFSA paperwork. Apply as a tutor.

Sponsor

Businesses and families sponsor CROME’s programs and the Bluebonnet Run. Sponsors are recognized on the sponsors page and at the race. Ask about sponsorship and we will send the current options.

Community partner

Schools, employers and organizations partner with CROME to host industry visits, share opportunities with students, or bring CROME to their events. Start the conversation.

Donations fund scholarships, mentorship, application and FAFSA help, and career preparation for Ellis County students. Gifts are processed securely by GiveLively and you receive a receipt by email. Donate to CROME.
